IMPORTANCE OF PRAYER

Scripture Reading: Matthew 7:7-20.

Memory Verse: Philippians 4:6.

  1. What is the promise to those who ask and seek for things they need? Matthew 7:8.
  2. How does the Lord illustrate the willingness of heaven to grant favors to those who ask? Matthew 7:11.
  3. Why is it necessary to ask our Heavenly Father for all these things? James 1:17.
  4. How should we pray? 1 Corinthians 14:15.
  5. What must necessarily accompany one’s petition in order to please our Heavenly Father? Hebrews 11:6.
  6. How strong must this faith be? Mark 11:24.
  7. What should be done when one needs to be healed of an affliction? James 5:13-16.
  8. Is it profitable and necessary, at certain times, to hide away all alone to pray? Matthew 6:6.

NOTE:  Prayer is a way to communicate with heaven and to draw closer to our Heavenly Father. A minister once said: “I have no fear for the boy or girl, man or woman, who earnestly prays three times a day.”
