SOBRIETY

Scripture Reading: 1 Peter 4th. Chapter.

Memory Verse: 1 Peter 4:7.

  1. To what extent did the wise man test the pleasures of the world? Ecclesiastes 2:10.
  2. How much true enjoyment did such a course afford? Ecclesiastes 2:11; Proverbs 14:12-13.
  3. To whom is such mirth enjoyable? Proverbs 15:21.
  4. What conclusion did the wise man reach? Ecclesiastes 2:13,14.
  5. Why is sobriety preferable to levity? Ecclesiastes 7:2, 3.
  6. What differentiates between the wise and the foolish? Ecclesiastes 7:4.
  7. Of what does the wise man bid the young man to be mindful of even in the pursuit of pleasure? Ecclesiastes 11:9.
  8. What injunction of sobriety is given in: Titus 2:2-8; Romans 13:13; 1 Peter 1:13?
