Scripture Reading: Hebrews 1.

Memory Verse: Hebrews 1:14.

  1. What creation of beings is there similar to man, and what is our condition compared to them? Psalms 8:3-5.
  2. What was their purpose and office in creation? Psalms 34:7; Hebrews 1:13,14.
  3. Does the Creator consider man of the same family as the angels? Ephesians 3:14,15; Revelation 22:8,9.
  4. Does this family have the same name, and what is the name? 1 Corinthians 15:9; 1 Thessalonians 2:14.
  5. What is said of the angels of heaven regarding the commandments? Psalms 103:20.
  6. In what way are these heavenly messengers summoned to our assistance? Matthew 26:53.
  7. When Peter was bound with two chains in prison, how was he set free? Acts 12:7-10.
  8. Through whose prayer was he thus assisted?. Verse 5.
  9. How quickly is it possible for the Almighty to hear our prayers, and answer? Daniel 9:21

NOTE:  The angels are summoned to our help when we pray. Prayer is that connecting link which gives us a holy charge of divine power we must have to live the overcoming life.

  1. What important relationship exists between man, and the angels, pertaining to an understanding of the Scriptures? Daniel 9:22.
  2. In the agony of Gethsemane, how did the Heavenly Father supply divine assistance in this hour of crisis? Luke 22:43.
  3. How are we to obtain divine assistance? Matthew 7:7,8.
  4. Are the angels of heaven interested in human affairs? Luke 15:10.
  5. In the great time of trouble who will be our protector? Psalms 91:9, 10, 11.
