This discussion is all about whether the ten commandments are still abiding to the believers.

No, that can never be. In the new covenant we still have many Scriptures to show that the ten commandments are still abiding. For instance, our Saviour Himself acknowledged in Matthew 5:17-19 that He never came to abiolish the law but to fulfill it. Elsewhere in James 2:8-10 anyone who keep the all the law and yet he break one he is guilty of breaking the whole law.
