THE RESURRECTION OF THE RIGHTEOUS AND THE WICKED

 

Scripture reading: 1 Corinthians 15: 12-58.

Memory verse: 1 Corinthians 15: 22.

 

  1. Will everyone be resurrected? John 5: 28, 29.
  2. When will the righteous be resurrected unto life eternal? 1 Corinthians 15: 22, 23; Revelation 20: 4; 1 Thess. 4:16.
  3. What will happen to the saints who will be alive at the appearing of Jesus? 1 Thess. 4:17; 1 Corinthians 15:52,53.
  4. Where will the resurrected saints dwell and what will be their work during the millennium reign of Christ? Revelation 5:10; Daniel 7:27; Luke 19:15-19.

 

Note. What a wonderful blessing awaits all the faithful in Christ Jesus. All who have died in the Lord will be made alive at the appearing of Jesus, while the living saints will be changed in a moment in the twinkling of an eye, and they will live and reign with Christ a thousand years. During this time Jesus will reign upon the throne of David. Luke 1:32; Isaiah 24:23.

  1. Where will the wicked dead be during this millennial age? Revelation 20:5,6.
  2. Will the wicked ever be resurrected? John 5:28,29.
  3. For what purpose will the wicked be brought forth? Job 21:30; 2 Peter 2:9.
  4. When the wicked are resurrected where will they have to appear? Revelation 20:11,12.

 

Note. The judgement is for the wicked, since the righteous went to judgement when they confessed their sins, were born again and became obedient unto the words of the Lord, thus they passed from death into life and became members of the family of God. 1 Timothy 5:24; John 5:24.

  1. What will the final end of the wicked be? Revelation 20: 13-15; 21:8; Malachi 4:1-3; Obadiah 1:16.
