WATCH FOR THE SIGNS OF HIS COMING
Scripture reading: 1 Thess. 5:1-28.
Memory verse: 1 Thess. 5:6.
- What command is given to us by the Lord Jesus Christ? Matt. 24:44; 25:13.
- What are we to watch? Luke 21:31.
- What condition did Jesus say would be in the world preceding His coming? Luke 21:25; 17:28-30; Matt. 24:6, 7.
- What signs are given, of a special nature, indicating the soon coming of Christ Jesus? 2 Tim. 3:1-5; Matt. 24:37-39.
- What is said about great increases of knowledge at this time? Dan. 12:4.
Note. — It is a well known fact that the century just passed, and the present one, are unsurpassed by any age of this world’s history, as far as advancement and inventive skill are concerned.
- What is said about the hoarding of wealth, as one of the signs of the end of the age? James 5:1-3.
