HEART SERVICE
Scripture reading: Deuteronomy 6.
Memory verse: Deuteronomy 6:4, 5.
1. Does the Lord require heart service from His people? Deuteronomy 6:4, 5.
2. Do temporal blessings follow those who seek the Lord with their whole heart? Verse 3.
3. If we need His word, and seek first the kingdom of the Lord and His righteousness, will other blessings follow? Matthew 6:33.
4. If we seek Him with all of our hearts, what will abide in us? Isaiah 26:3.
5. What did Jesus say was the first commandment? Matthew 22:37, 38.
6. What things issue forth from the heart? Matthew 12:35.
7. Should we guard our lips and our tongues in order to have our conversation pleasing unto the Lord? Matthew 12:36, 37.
8. Did a certain lawyer who tempted Jesus, really know what the Lord requires of those who serve Him? Luke 10:27.
9. Does the Lord look upon appearances? 1 Samuel 16:7.
10. Is it necessary for those who serve the Lord to receive a new heart? Jeremiah 24:7.
11. What instruction did Jesus give about the heart? Matthew 5:8.
12. Who alone is able to direct our hearts? 2 Thessalonians 3:5.
