WORSHIPING GOD THROUGH OBEDIENCE TO THE WORD
Scripture Reading: Psalms 19.
Memory Verse: 2 Timothy 3:15.
- How may the true worshippers know that the Bible is truly inspired by God? 2 Samuel 23:1,2; 1 Corinthians 2:3-5,13; 1 Corinthians 13:11; 2 Timothy 3:16.
- How do some of the writers of the Bible consider the Word? How long will it be preserved? Psalms 12:6,7; Psalms 119:140; John 15:3; Proverbs 30:5.
- How does the Psalmist enlarge on this? Psalms 19:7-9; Psalms 93:5.
- Does the Word of God last forever? Isaiah 40:8.
- What is the standard of the Word? Isaiah 8:20.
NOTE: All the references given above definitely prove that a true worshipper most certainly will adhere to the Word of God. No one can deny its power; no one can scoff at the Word and not be liable to the wrath of God.
- How universal is the Word? Psalms 19:1-4; Romans 10:18.
- Are there any penalties for not obeying the Word? John 12:47,48.
- How do Christians grow? 1 Peter 2:1,2; 2 Peter 3:18.
- What is the final word to those who wish to be true worshippers? James 1:18-22.
